The Single Adults Ministry at Arlington Heights United
Methodist Church represents a diverse community of singles from 18 to 80+ years of age. We include students,
never married adults; separated, divorced, and widowed adults; and single parents. Our goal is to grow together in our faith through Christian formation, outreach, fellowship, and involvement in the church community.
Our
Single Adult Ministry does not see single adults as one homogenous group.
We realize that this is as diverse a group as any other.
Singleness does not provide a strong enough bond to hold single adults together by itself.
The life experiences one shares will more likely offer the bonds that will form relationships.
At AHUMC, we understand this and continue to expand our Single Adult Ministry based upon the various reference points
we encounter along life's journey.
